The TerraLUX Universal LED Lighting Kit replaces 100 year old incandescent flashlight bulbs with state of the art technology. By combining sophisticated electronics with a new high-powered white LED the product does away with the idea of bulb burn-out and dead batteries. The electronics within the Universal LED Lighting Kit automatically adapt to any power source from 2 alkaline cells to 4 cells.
Gone are the days when knowing how many cells your battery-powered appliance used before you could buy the right light bulb. In addition, the 20,000 hr rated lifetime for the LED means you should never have to replace a lightbulb again! The kit includes reflectors that can be used to retrofit the popular AAA and AA flashlights from Mag Instruments Inc., as well as a bulb adapter that fits most battery-operated household appliances.

To install in Mini Maglite®
- Unscrew head from flashlight body and remove bulb.
- Unscrew the two parts of the head. Remove old reflector.
- Insert TerraLUX reflector and reassemble head.
- Insert TerraLUX LED. If LED is not lit, remove LED, rotate it 180° and reinsert to correct the polarity.
- Screw flashlight head onto body.

To install in other lights:
- Remove incandescent bulb from bulb base by first removing any retaining ring or clip.
- Insert TerraLUX bulb adaptor into base. Insert LED into bulb adaptor. Replace retaining ring or clip.
- Turn light ON. If LED is not lit, remove LED, rotate it 180° and reinsert to correct the polarity.
- Use your light's original reflector, if it came with one.
NOTE: For battery powered lights ONLY. Do not use in lights using 5 or more cells. |
